Primitive, Naïve and absolutely charming, this small survivor of a 500 year old oak coffer just exudes history. Artisan made, using the most primitive of tools. Lunette incised carving, with each lunette inset with three dots probably signifying the cross and possible ecclesiastical origin. Treated against worm, polished and ready to display.
