Ancient Viking Knife from 8th-9th c. Perfect for any collector. An excellent example of a Norse pouch knife. The blade worn to a curve by decades of sharpening. 6" (150mm) long with a very sturdy blade at 3/16" (5mm) wide. Of particular interest is that the blade looks to have been treated with a thin pitch coating, presumably to protect it while at sea. (We have a number of blades with a similar finish).
